New Heat Pumps 

– Heat Pumps are the main system used on rooftops today. Although many gas packaged units were installed in the 1970's and 1980's, many homes built from the 1990's and up were all electric, most of them being heat pumps. The Phoenix, Scottsdale area has seen many of the gas furnace systems converted from having a furnace inside to all on the roof.

In Scottsdale, especially Central and South Scottsdale, we have seen many homes on its third or fourth ac unit or heat pump already. Sometimes, once we have replaced a rooftop packaged heat pump or air conditioner, we will recommend roofing repair. This is due to old roofing tiles or shingles that may leak around the unit.
